In the article, Extrasolar Planets News: Two “Super Earths” Detected, the author quotes several scientists saying that earth like planets could be found soon.

Its this kind of emtpy statement that really drives science onward. :-/

Obviously it would be great if we could find another planet like earth, but what could we do about it if we found one? We can’t exactly go out and visit it in our lifetimes.

We need to finish the Fusion power projects, then work on warp drive.
