Far Cry

I’ve been playing Far Cry multiplayer for the past 2 hours. Its got to be the most fun in multiplayer that I’ve had since playing Urban Terror (a mod for Quake 3).
What do I love about it? The realism. The fact that some of the maps are HUGE. And not only are they huge, but they are detailed. Carefully placed nooks and crannies, plenty of vantage points for snipers to get to work, twisty paths and crumbled buildings … it all makes the whole experience so much more realistic. You actually feel like you’re hunting and when you bag that next kill a sense of elation washes over you.
I’m finding that after a very hard day at work, Far Cry helps take off the edge and helps me relax.
Hats off to the Far Cry developers for a truly beautiful game.
