Hi all,

My blog wasn’t the most visited site on the net, but there were a few communities hosted on the server that I was using, along with some of my code examples etc.

Unfortunately, the deal I had which was basically allowing me to host my stuff on servers I helped maintain as a volunteer effort, seems to have gone away. The hosting company that hosts the servers have pulled the machines offline, and I’ve not been able to get in contact with the guys there.

This doesn’t really surprise me, I kind of expected it, just not so soon, and not before I had a chance to make other arrangements.

So, if you use NodeQuota (my Internode usage meter), or were a member of rpg-dungeon.com or creeperparty.net, please be aware that I’m making efforts to recover the machines so I can grab the data off them and bring the sites back online fully.

I’m sorry about the downtime, but please bear in mind that these things are purely hobbies for me, and I work on them only in my spare time – with new baby and work commitments, that’s meant very little time to work on them at all.

I do have a new server being built and hosted on the west coast of the US. I chose that location because bandwidth is far cheaper there, and I can get a lot more bang for my buck.

Thanks.
